First Prenatal Appointment

Hi ladies!!

My first appointment is coming up next week (I’ll be 8 weeks) and all they will be doing is blood work, urine test, PAP smear, along with Q&A.; Not an ultrasound. Should my husband even go to this with me since he won’t even get to see the baby yet? Plus the receptionist said it’ll take 15-20 minutes.

Was curious if your partner ever went to the first appointment?

It’s difficult since we both work and he travels out of state Monday-Thursday and my day off is Wednesday. Hard coordinating with our conflicting schedules.
