Biracial baby, birth certificate question..
It hit me today while filing my taxes, of all things, that when Noah is born I’m going to have to check something on the “race” section of his birth certificate, not to mention on forms for the rest of his life. Do any of you know if it’s possible to select “all that apply”? Or to select more then just one option in general? His biological father is half African American/half Pacific Islander and I am Caucasian. I realize that he’s probably going to favor the more dominate genes of his father. He will be raised in a single parent household with 3 Caucasian siblings. I want him to know his genetic background but I don’t want him to always identify as “different”.. Maybe my hormonal brain is totally over thinking this..
