So yesterday my daughter was born at 8:06am while removing her she swallowed a great deal of amniotic fluid. Which caused her heart rate to drop and her oxygen levels also dropped. Since then I haven't heard anything about how she is doing. I haven't talked to a doctor about her situation or anything.

A respiratory therapists that came in to let me do my breathing exercise told me she was also taking care of my baby. But the only thing she was able to update me on was that the took her oxygen down some. I'm trying my best not to breakdown and cry or have a nervous breakdown.

I haven't held my baby, hell I really don't even know how she looks for real. I was so doped up from my cesarean and tubal that I was only able to glance at her. Her own damn daddy didn't even get a chance to hold her. I'm very thankful that they rushed to get her to the NICU but I at least expected a doctor or nurse to come and update me on how she's doing.

I even called the NICU all they told me was that nothing has changed since they first talked me, something I rarely remember since I was so doped at the time. I was told she may end up staying in there until we go home Friday and that's only if she is able to regulate her breathing.
