In pain! Help!
I'm a few days shy of 10 months exclusively breastfeeding. I've been through bad latches, over supply, fast letdown, choking baby, and more and thought I was over the worse. 3 days ago my nipples started to hurt, one side more than the other. I pushed through it thinking it was just a bad latch and it'll get better. It hasn't. The other side hurts just as much now. I'm almost in tears during our feeding sessions, more so now that he just pulls off dragging my nipples through his front teeth. It's so painful. I dread feeding him. I want to make it to 12 months but this pain is unbearable. Is it his teeth? What should I do? anyone else in the same boat? I'm at my dining table with nipples covered in lanolin. I hope with all my might that it helps quickly. my next feed is in about 3 hours and all I want to do is buy formula and have a bottle ready. And the other part of me wants to push through and make it to my goal. Any advice is appreciated .
