8w6d vaginal ultrasound detects no heartbeat?

Anyone have a vaginal ultrasound that didn't detect heartbeat or movement, and it not result in the dreaded failed pregnancy? I had an abdominal ultrasound Tuesday and saw both movement and heartbeat, the sonographer took her time finding the best angle, etc. First visit with my OBGYN today and they saw neither vaginally, although it didn't seem like they spent a lot of time searching either. They requested bloodwork and a recheck on Monday. I'm scared...I played it cool n collected in the appointment but started crying once I got to my car...
