Birth control pill?

I have a physical exam next week and I'm 18. I plan on asking my doctors to get me on the pill, however I dont want my parents to know about it. What do u think?

Fuck em.  You’re 18 and can do whatever. Besides I’m sure they’d rather  not be grandparents quite yet anyways. They can suck it up that their daughter is going on the pill. 
They will probably be upset that their daughter is growing up more than anything. They want their little girl to be their little girl forever and sometimes doin stuff like beginning birth control makes parents panic and freak out for no reason
Again, you’re 18, fuck em. You legally have every right to request full confidentiality and that means your physician is legally bound to not speak a word on your medical info. I have mine set that way so even if my mom called, they can’t release information without verbal and /or written consent from me.... and my dr is my mom’s friend and she still can’t speak a word to my  mom even if mom tried :)
