Bruising? Diastasis Recti?

I had a hard time getting the lighting right, but my husband pointed out that around my belly button is about a half-dollar sized area that’s a good bit darker than the rest of my stomach. It almost looks bruised.
I’m not sure, but i do think i have diastasis recti because of some of the abdominal issues I’ve been having and how squishy the center part of my stomach is. Could these be related?
Any thoughts? This just popped up today.

Pigment changes a lot during pregnancy. Could be totally normal. My belly button is squishy as well because baby is not normally right in that spot. My belly button turns an awful yellow color towards the end when it gets super stretched.

I noticed that on myself also the other day. My belly button area is like flat compared to my belly I dono if that’s why. I’m 35 weeks

I have no clue the cause but I have the exact same looking belly button. Mine is darker too and I thought it looked like bruising as well. It's not painful or anything just looks a tad different from the rest of my stomach.
