My predicament!

I am 9 days late today (my original count was off thanks to glow messing up and updating fixed it). It is normal for me to be a day or two off but never 9! I still have not gotten a positive test. Is it possible my hormones just aren't high enough yet? I know you aren't supposed to reuse a test by any means but has anyone reused one and gotten a true positive? Is there anything I can do at home to try and find out? (I get paid Friday when I can reup my baby stash .) Does anyone have any suggestions? P.S. I do not have insurance currently so going to the doctor us out if the question until I get a positive.
