Worried I have strep or tonsillitis?

Throats has felt a bit sore (my tonsils) like outside my glands have felt a bit swollen. I looked at it in the light today and saw white patches on roofish of mouth to right above my gag hanging thingy (forgot what it's called) reason I'm placing this post here is because I'm almost 36 weeks pregnant.

Sometimes its not strep, it’s allergies. I get patches like this a lot come spring but if I test negative for strep I don’t take antibiotics, they won’t help if you don’t have strep anyways. My doctor told me it’s an accumulation of bacteria on the lymph nodes from the air but not strep. After a few days it goes away, but if you’re pregnant you should always be checked by a doctor to make sure because sickness during pregnancy is so different.

So it's not strep or tonsilitous because it's on the top of my mouth rather then that tonsils. They are treating it as yeast but if the meds don't work to see my primary care
