Thank you everyone for your insights and personal experiences with the minimum wage. Ive gained alot of knowledge and i realize i must change my view points to the minimum wage being survivable.

The minimum wage can be survivable but livable? No. Surviving and living are two way different concepts. Living paycheck to paycheck is stressful and from personal esperience is not livable. Living aka *enjoying life* should be a must for ALL Americans. While i still believe hard work and the right company can excel you to that livable life, there are circumstances that present themselves that make people have to work those mimumum wage jobs and because of those people COMPANIES not the government should defiantly look into raising their the minimum wage.
