Is it possible to be in a relationship with someone for 4-5 years and not love them? I met someone who was in a relationship for this long and they told me that they never really loved their partner. I did not understand. He told me he never really felt anything for her, he was just bored. WHAT??? Can anyone explain how or why?

Yeah, some people just get comfortable and stay in relationships. Not saying that they should or anything but I feel like it happens a lot because people don’t like being single

If there’s no connection then yes, it’s possible. Some people will know what they have (amazing partner) but not be in love and stay in case in time they do fall in love. They’re trying to keep a good thing despite not having those feelings.

Yep. I was in one for 3. For me it became more of just a comfort thing and maybe I was scared to be alone. Either way I knew from the beginning it wasn’t going anywhere ... sad but true. I’ll never waste that much time being stupid again that’s for sure 😪

Me. I was with my boyfriend for three and a half years. His cheating was no surprise but him impregnating her was a big one. 
I realized I never loved him afterwards. I didn’t cry, and I just felt nothing.
