What bothers you?

What is something that people did or said after you had your baby that really bothered you?

For me, it's when people hold her for an excessive amount of time. It makes me very uncomfortable when people sit and hold her for more than 15-20 minutes. Like, "Okay, please give me my baby back now."🙊🙈

I hate it when people feel hurt because baby wants me more then them.  Of course she wants me, I am mom, it really isn't personal.

It irritates me to no end people who think they know better and base their facts on old wives tales/personal beliefs. Then turn around and tell you you're doing it wrong. I moved to my USA from UK and it's like people think I need direction /guidance from them ... Like I don't have my own family and beliefs.

I was playing with my 3 year old nephew and picked him up and got told off for that. I wore heels and got told off for that. I got told to sit down and not exercise by people as big as a house. These are all people I have to be respectful to as they raised my husband.

I need to put my foot down before baby comes or I'm screwed.

People who assume I wanted a little girl and assume I'm disappointed that I'm having a boy. Disappointed! I am overjoyed! I wanted another boy. And now we're done!

It bothers me that there is a huge difference between what was acceptable when I was born, to now;

1. Babies slept on their tummies
2. Were given sleeping medicines
3.were given liquor for teething
4. Ppl didn't care if you smoked while pregnant
5. Babies where given coffee (seriously had a woman suggest this, dispite knowing my son has tachycardia)
6. No carseats
7. Safety ties were laughable

When my son was born, my mom was extremely upset to hear that he slept on his back, almost in tears

What bothers me is that my hubby's family is huge and they all seem to get together very often and start passing around my baby from one to another and it drives me crazy ! My hubby gets mad when I try to take the baby back, he says they are just excited to see her. 😒 I hate visiting his fam..

When you have a baby and people immediately ask when you're going to have another one. Like damn, I still have stitches, give me a minute!!

It bothered me that people talked poorly about my post baby body. I lost all my weight in 1 week and had lost an extra 10 pounds and had my stomach flat within 3. People told me I must be starving myself and my baby and that's why we was skinny. The list went on.

Wow a lot of people don't like others touching there baby to each there own i don't care it didn't bother me to have people want to hold my babies I welcomed it it makes me feel like my baby is wanted what I guess bothered me was when people asked me when was I going to start working out again that made me feel low
