Dying my hair

Hey y’all so I really want to do something like this with my hair but I don’t want to spend $100s at a salon so I was just wondering what products any of you recommend and tips on how I could do it. PLEASE don’t tell me to just go to a professional!! I’ve done many different things with my hair AND other people’s hair and it’s always turned out perfectly fine! I’m pretty sure I know how I’m going to do this I just need some extra tips and recommendations on what colors to use! Oh also I have pretty dark brown hair
