depression about being blind..

I had horrible vision when i was in 4th grade the nurse from schoool called my mom saying i needed glassses asap and to take me to the doctors. That day was horrible. i wore glasses since then til now. im still wearing them on a daily. Everyday i need them . It sucks because i wish i had perfect vision. i took after my dad. he’s blind too. im 25 now and i feel very sad. Idk why. I want to get lasik eye surgery but i don’t have money for it .. i have insurance tho... I just want to know if it’s worth getting the surgery? i mean yes people say i look pretty with glasses on and i should get contacts, but dealing with a struggle everyday for the rest of ur life really sucks. I don’t know what to do:/ should i get it ? will it change my life?
