Aldara advice??

Question

I was recently diagnosed with genital molluscum which is different than warts, but my doctor prescribed aldara. I feel like the aldara has just made the situation worse and torn up my skin down there. Has anyone had this same experience??

i’ve been to PP i also went to my main doctor and at first PP was doing the cryo therapy(freezing them off) which did work but the problem is you have to keep going back and even tho u r getting the frozen off it doesn’t mean they aren’t contagious. my main doctor recommended I buy pure salicylic acid, she wouldn’t prescribe any cream saying “it’s not worth the money and it will go away on its own.” I personally haven’t found anything or anyone very helpful, I have read that putting apple cider vinegar on the bumps helps them go away, i tried this it didn’t work for me personally. the salicylic acid is helping a lot a few have went away completely but others have popped up. u can get the SA at the drug store for around $5, it does burn very badly. You want to make sure u only put the acid on the bump don’t coat it skin in it, also use a new q-tip for each bump. u don’t want to spread the virus. Also taking a immune support helps. I’m currently taking Lysine. Hope this kinda helps!!
