Mommas Who've Had Twins

Hi mommas and mommas-to-be! My question is, at what point in your pregnancy with twins were you either miserable on car rides, or too big to sit behind the wheel? I'm trying to figure out when-about I need to have my baby shower. My home town is 3 and a half hours away, and that's where all of my friends and family are. It just make sense for it to be there. Only 16w, and feeling amazing, but I know there are bumpy roads ahead. Lol! Thanks so much for the input!
