Weaning help

My daughter is 14 months old and 4 days ago I eliminated her bedtime nursing session and now only nurse her in the morning when she wakes up. I chose to drop the night feed first because she more played Mitch my nipple and breast more than anything. Now she takes a bath, pjs then we rock and read a story . She cry’s through the story, I kiss her and put her to bed. Each night she cry’s for 10 minuets, tonight, the 4th night, she cried for almost 20 minuets. It wearing on me, I feel like I should start back up again but feel like she was ready and is now just adjusting?

How long did it take your baby to get the hang of the new routine? Should I start nursing again. Should I hang in there?
