Okay ladies. I'm struggling with a yeast infection and this is what the pharmacist said would work best.. have any of y'all used this before and does it work?? Also, how many days after can I start having sex again?

I used Monistat 3-day treatment recently and it worked great. It's the same treatment basically just mine was 3 ovules so longer (they didn't have the one-day like you). It's the same efficency it's just a matter of preference if you want a faster treatment. You'll probably feel itchy for a while it'll just take time for it to disappear. I had to use the cream for about 4 days after finishing the ovule-treatment. For sex I would recommend to wait until all the symptoms and discomfort are gone. It's just to be sure it's gone so you don't transmit it to your partner. A week in total should be fine (just to be safe). Sex can also be uncomfortable for you with the yeast infection and doesn't help with healing.

I used this exact one when I got yeast infection. It works slowly but very effective. I waited for at least 2 weeks before I could have sex again. But you will know when you are ready. You know your vagina better.  My butthole was itchy as hell when I got yeast infection. haha 😝🤦 TMI.

i unfortunately have a HORRIBLE reaction to monistat- it burns me an absolutely insane amount and ive never used anything more painful but it still works and its very rare for that to happen to people.
do not have sex til your yeast infection is completely gone
