Boyfriend is mad because I don't tell him when I get paid

Me and my boyfriend have been dating a year and lately he's been wanting to know when I get paid and how much and I tell him why do you need to know it's my money and my account. He knows how much I make. Eventually we start arguing about it because I never ask him about his money nor do I care about his money. Am I wrong for not wanting to tell him because I feel like my money is none of his business unless we get married.
