Should I get off my birth control?

So I went on the pill when I was 14. I’m now almost 17. I’ve heard so many things about it and how it has sooo many negative effects and I’m unsure if I should go off of it now or if I should wait until I’m 18 like I was planning on doing. I just want to know your opinions on the pill and their negative effects.

I've never heard of any long term negative effects of the pill. 
If you want to get off now, get off now. I'd just recommend doing it at the end of the pill pack. It was always an easier transition for me when I did it that way.
