Am I being unreasonable?

Question

My baby's dad and I are not together we tried but he continually cheats and leaves for days at a time and doesn't contact me and has done nothing for our baby and continually asks me for money so he can buy smokes ect
I have had a really difficult pregnacy and he hasn't really been there at all and I might need a c section which means that I can only have one person in the room and I want it to be my mum and when I told him that he started to send me death threats 
Is it unreasonable to want someone there that I know will show up and support me and who has been there for me?

Anyone that can death threat the mother of their child should be kept away at all times, I would call the police and make them aware that want him kept away from you and your child at all times, that way if he ever tries to show up demanding he wants to see the baby the police know what they are dealing with

No, not unreasonable and you might want too look into a restraining/no contact order.

I know not having the father of your child around sucks, I grew up not knowing my bio-dad because he walked out when my mom got pregnant. That said, the absence of a bad father is better than the presence of one.

I would take those death threats to the police. My sons "douche bag" threatened to punch me in the stomach if I left him. I left and haven't spoke to him since that was May of 2010.

You have every right to not want his low life butt there. Honestly call the cops tell them he's making death threats to you and your baby than invest in a shovel and open land bury his butt and be done with it.  Any man who harms a woman isn't a man at all but a coward because he cannot dare to fight someone his own size.
