Ex boyfriend

Hey guys, so i have this ex that is confusing me every single time. So i started dating him in 2014 we dated for about a year and 3 months i dumped him because of rhese rumours about him cheating and stuff he says he dint cheat but like its hard to believe because right after i dumped him two weeks later he started dating the girl that he says he dint cheat on me with(ironic) anyway its been two years now since we broke up and when ever we talk it’s really magical u know i miss and all that, and the crazy thing is everytime we meet we end up kissing. But he makes me feel unwanted cause everytime we seem to start talking and everything going great he just disappears you know. Then when he feels like talking to me he texts me and i always reply because i have a soft spot for this guy. So please help me out what do you think it is? Like when does he talk to me and then out of no where leave? I mean with the way i felt about him i would give him a second chance if he would just make it right and stop having pride you know. I need someone to help me understand and help me with a solution
