Second birth after retained placenta and PPH

I was three days in labour with my first born in 2013. Was 54 hours in established labour and two hormone drips which resulted in a forceps delivery and manual removal of placenta.

Reassuring for anyone who suffered a traumatic birth is that this time I was 18 mins in established labour and pushed for six minutes ! I was discharged from hospital six hours later.

I had two stitches which is a dream compared to my epiostomy last time!
