Can someone that has had an ectopic pregnancy tell me what your first warning signs were?!

This morning I woke up at like 5 am with mildly bad pain on just one side of my belly. I looked up what could cause it and it said gas pain. Shortly after (tmi) I started passing gas, so I was like okay we're good. Then tonight although I haven't had that same pain I have had some more stronger abdominal cramping (generalized not just on one side ) so I looked up how much cramping was normal to have in early pregnancy and read that one early sign of an ectopic pregnancy is pain on just one side of the body that mimics gas pain so now I’m freaking out!
