what's my relationship status

lol this is probably gonna sound really weird but that's ok lol. so i'm talking to this guy ok? its been about a month. he's so perfect and nice and he buys me things even tho i don't ask him to and we've been on 3 or 4 dates, he's letting me have one of his sweatshirts, we say i love you every day and call each other almost every night. yet when i ask him if we're "official" he says he wants to wait a little because he's never had a girlfriend before, but we act just like a couple, so i dont really know what he's waiting for. and i don't wanna keep bringing up the "what are we" talk because i don't wanna seem like i'm pushing him because it's his first relationship. he has said that he's going to ask me to be his girlfriend but i'm starting to get restless if i'm being completely honest. help?
