INTENSE Mirena pain
Hi ladies,
I’m 27 and never had kids, had Mirena inserted 2 weeks ago at the same time I had laparoscopy surgery. Everything from the surgery has healed pretty well but I’m still getting period-type pain from the Mirena.
The pain has lessened over the last week, but yesterday I experienced sudden and intense pain that lasted for over an hour. It was so bad that I didn’t feel safe driving myself home from work and couldn’t walk properly so I just had to take pain killers and sit on the couch and work until it reduced enough for me to go home.
I told my coworker what it felt like and she said it sounded similar to labour pain. 😳😣
After reading more about it online I came across a woman who experienced that intense labour-like pain every second day for the first 3 months of having the Mirena.
Can you please share your experience with the INTENSE pain from the Mirena - frequency, intensity, duration etc? I just want to know what I’m in for.
(I’m not interested in the dull cramping, I know that’s common. I just want experiences with the REALLY bad pain similar to labour 😊)
Thanks in advance ladies 😊🌷
