Hook up or relationship?

I’m talking to a guy who Is a mutual friend and we get along well. I hung out with him for the first time recently with another couple and we talked the whole time, it took him awhile before he decided to make a move. But eventually he made a move (we just kissed) but it was nice and we held hands afterwards and cuddled. We got along super well and talked a lot, although i know he’s not looking for a relationship because he just got out of a two year one last summer and we’re now both about to go to college. What should I expect from him? Do you think since we got along so well it could lead to something? Although I don’t even know if I want it to lead to a relationship because of college. Please give thoughts on what you think of the situation!
