Frustrated with my fiancé

Sorry ladies but I need to vent a little bit. My fiancé hasn't been working lately, he works oil and gas and the downturn has dramatically cut his hours. Every time I get home from work (i work at least 5 days a week and often more) he's watching Netflix or playing video games. I've asked him to hang a shelf months ago and reminded him a few times since, I told him to update his resume so I can help him find more work, my mom gave him 4 books about pregnancy for men and things to know about your partners pregnancy birth and becoming a father etc. he hasn't read even one of them although I ask him multiple times a week how's the book is.. I think he's like 2 chapters in in 6 months (and now his complaint is that I'm further along than what the book is talking about so it's pointless I guess..?) if he had if actually been reading them then that wouldn't have happened. I just wish he would be more involved and put the effort in to show me that. I don't want to have to ask because I want him to WANT to be more involved, not just get involved because I ask him to. Right now he's playing video games and has been for like 3 hours while I try to pack up all my old clothes because of course they no longer fit. So I'm having an emotional day. Anyways thank you if you've read this far.. What should I do? Getting depressed.
