Can I be pregnant???

I’m 12 days late on my period. But I also recently started taking Birth control. I had sex on my 8th active pill. My birth control says it starts to function on my 7th pill.  I took a pregnancy test 1 week after I had sex and it came out negative. Then on the second week another and it also came out negative. Now I still haven’t gotten my period but now I’m on my 2nd inactive pill. Is this normal????

Dude sometimes periods are just dumb. It's too soon for a home pregnancy test to tell anyways. Wait another week and a half and if you don't get your period try another test. I had a pregnancy scare and literally the day after I told my mom I lost my virginity to my bf (whom I've been with for 3 years now) and that I needed to take a pregnancy test I got my period😤

Answer

While on the pill my period always started between when I'd take the second and third inactive pills. I was on it for 10 years. I think you're fine ❤️
