Can ex’s befriends especially if they were previously in  a poly relationship with you and your partner?

I don’t want to. I’m with a new guy, and I don’t think it’s fair. I’d feel uncomfortable for him to be bestfriends with the girl he slept with and was his girlfriend.

My boyfriend and I used to hang out with my ex. He was also perfectly fine with the two of us hanging out by ourselves and even grabbing food. I am also best friends with someone I used to date and I was actually pretty tripped up with her for a while. But now we’re planning for her to come down to see us and stay in our house. I think it depends. We trust each other and I’ve been really honest about my feelings and we had many talks as I was untangling myself from the grip she unknowingly had on me. I also stopped talking to her for a long time because of t since he wasn’t comfortable and it wasn’t healthy for me. It really depends on the communication, maturity, and trust. If your partner isn’t comfortable with you talking to an ex though, it’s most of the time best to go with the partner as long as they aren’t being possessive or controlling about it.
