How long should I wait?

How long should I wait to have another baby? I'm 15 & I want at least one more child but I don't want them too far apart because my little brother & I are 10 years apart & it really sucks. You're basically the one who's watching them & you can't even play with them cause you're so much older...I think 5 years is a good age to have another. Get pregnant when she's 4 then have the baby when she's 5? She would be in kindergarten & I would have time with the newborn. I also feel like she would be old enough to know better & they could still play & bond with each other. What do you guys think?

I don't mean this in a rude way but at 15 with one baby you shouldn't be thinking about having another baby at all right now. You should be focused on finishing school, providing for you and your current child, becoming independent by living on your own, and hopefully going to college and finding an excellent job. You should be worried about getting "all of your ducks in a row" so to speak. Then you can consider if the time is right to have another baby.

I had my first at 17. I struggled beyond words to not only support her but support myself. Finishing school was the hardest of all. I'm 22 now married (not to the boy who got me pregnant at 16) he is 28 and has raised my daughter as his own since she was one. Men like this aren't easy to find, not impossible, but I call myself lucky to have a man like him in my life. Don't think about having another child bc you will end up pregnant before you think you will. Take everything that comes your way VERY seriously bc if you don't you WILL end up as a mom relying on gov. Help or child support not knowing how to even buy your kids holiday gifts. I'm not gonna apologize if you feel offended bc it's the reality of it. I get it. I've been there. It's time to grow up... Like yesterday. That child is growing so quickly you don't have time to take it easy. Welcome to the fast treadmill of life as a teen mom. You will be judged by EVERYONE even when your doing well. Get use to it and Don't be a statistic.

Not to be rude.. But if you're 15 you can't be finnacially set to have a child or two. obviously your child is not a mistake. But at 15 most jobs won't even hire till 16 you don't have a lisence and you can't even be out past curfew. You should really be worried about school. Not having another baby

I had my first at 16 and it was hard I'm now 25 and pregnant with number 2....my kids will have a 9 year gap but I'm so much more prepared for this baby along with more mature...wait til your older to consider having another

Sometimes it's completely out of your hands! We ideally wanted a 3yr age gap but after 3 miscarriages we'll be lucky to have a 5yr age gap. X
