Is it normal to go 11 weeks without seeing a midwife? 🇬🇧 3RD baby.

I was 16w and won’t be seeing her again till I am 27 weeks. 
She said it’s because this is my 3rd baby.

I’m 18 weeks and last saw my midwife at 16 weeks. Not seeing her again til 28weeks. Got my 20 week scan in between though

Same I'm 30 weeks and have only seen the midwife 3 times it's only after 28 weeks they start listening to heartbeat and measuring bump but now it's getting closer I'm seeing her every 3 weeks

That's normal. My sister's on her 3rd baby too and she said that after your first baby the midwives usually leave you to it because you're experienced (except if you are considered high risk or have a history of complications).

Yes I’m the same... weeks and weeks without seen the midwife. I’m glad that I’m able to have private scans to put my mind at ease. I wish I could afford to have private healthcare for the whole of my pregnancy.

I'm presuming you'll have your scan at some point inbetween those dates though so maybe that's classed as an appointment? I only have one child but I know you see the midwife less when you have more children.
