Do you think it’s weird for a grandparent (who has numerous tattoos) tattoo their grandkids’ names on him/herself?

So the background behind this story.

My dad told me that once we announce little man’s name, he’s gonna add it to his tattoo collection.

It’s his body, he can do whatever, let’s not argue about that.

I’m kinda indifferent on wether I think it’s weird or not, but it weirds my hubby out. With that being said, my father is a selfish, non family oriented man, so I wondered if this is a common feeling or just our situation since he’s not been involved with us more than two or three times since we’ve been together (7years).

Also, our little nugget is the first grandkid.
