When is typical first Dr visit

I am 37 and 7 weeks pregnant with my third. My kids are 15 and 12 so this has been awhile. I called and my dr scheduled me for a 10 week appointment. When have you first seen the doctor? Should I be seeing someone earlier? Just curious...

I went in at 7 weeks for an initial visit, just general info like history, pap smear, questions, labs.  I'll go next week for the US and heartbeat

I actually just called my obgyn today and they said most obgyns won't want to see you until after you are 8 weeks pregnant. I go right before I turn 9 weeks

I'm going to the office at 6 weeks but just to see a nurse for bloodwork and family/past pregnancy background. First doctor appointment will be around 10 weeks.

My office sees people for the first time between 8-10 weeks. My first baby I got in right at 8 weeks. This time I'm going at 9 weeks.

I had my confirmation appt today at 5w2d I got a physical exam n some cultures. I get an ultrasound in 12 days at 7 weeks 3/27/18, Blood work 4/10 at 9 weeks and then I see the OB again 4/27 at 11w3day.

When I was pregnant with my son, 6 years ago my first  appointment was at 5 weeks. This time I will be nearly 10 weeks at my first appointment 😐
