My neighbors are snitches

My bf is trying to control who I can and can’t talk to. I won’t cut people who are just friends off for him but I love him so I don’t want to leave him. Today I was hanging out with my guy friend who I’ve known for years & my neighbors who I didn’t know talk to my bf told him & now he’s mad 🤦🏻‍♀️ my mistake, I know but at this point, either he quits trying to restrict people from talking to me or he can go. I’m not anyone’s property.
