Guy trouble!!!

So there’s this boy in my class who I’m very good friends with. He’s really smart and sensible, not dumb like my other classmates. The thing is, I realized that he has a crush on me, and sometimes he gets too close to me and makes me uncomfortable and I want to say something but I feel bad for him and I don’t want to embarrass him, and I don’t want to stop being friends with him or make it awkward.

(BTW he knows I don’t like him, I’m a huge lesbian)
