I need advice last June I got my first depo shot had my period for to months and then it stopped and changed my mind I wanted another baby so I stopped the shot Aug of last year. I haven't had a period sense. 2 days ago I got this light brown discharge that stopped this morning. I thought it was my period or just coming down from the shot but it didn't get worse. didn't leave a mark on a pad nothing. could it be implantation bleeding or something else.

With depo it can take 6-8 mos for it run out of your system completely from when you are expected the next shot. It could be your period is trying to start. I was on depo and was supposed to get my next shot feb 2016 but didn’t and depo didn’t wear off until October of that year when I got my period. But wait just a little longer and see what happens. Just watch your discharge and consistency closely.
