so idk what to.do anymore

i have been talking to this guy for 6 months already and we had our ups and downs but he is leaving to the army in two monts things really havent been the same he basically was letting me go that i was better of with out him and he knows i like him also but idk what to do cuz he keeps pusing me away and keeps telling me to walk away from him to not to worry about him and that he does not want to leave me here all alone idk what to do anymore and much as i tell him i care about him and im not leaving him he still wants me to leave any advice
