Cruising while pregnant??

My husband and I planned and payed for a cruise already for June this coming summer. We found out about our surprise pregnancy and my doctor gave me the okay to still go on the cruise. I will be 5 months pregnant while on it, and I am wondering if anyone else has cruised while pregnant??? What tips do you have, or advice??? My husband and I have been married for 6 years and never got a honey moon because he was in the military and not able to really vacation, so this is like our honeymoon turned into a babymoon 🤷🏼‍♀️. The cruise is to Alaska and I am stoked to go! Any advice is appreciated ❤️

i found out i was preg while on a 6 week cruise. it was manageable. i think its best to try to maintain as much as a normal schedule as possible. took advantage of the classes offered at the gym. the only thing that was hard for me was my room was close to an elivator that smelled like smoldering vomit on a humid day.

My advice is to have fun!! you will be fine travelling. I went across country at 7.5 months. if there are specific things y9u think you might need, just make sure you pack those.

I got so seasick on our honeymoon cruise! the acupressure wristband helped curb some of the sickness and is safe when pregnant. I don't recommend the patches, my father in law had an adverse reaction and basically hallucinated hardcore and got off the ship. It was bad!

I was going to say watch out for the foreign food but I see that you’re going to Alaska! Just relax and have fun mama!

I went on a cruise during my last pregnancy and am cruising again in April. It is really great because they have everything there for you which make you vacation relaxing. If you get nauseous easily bring some ginger ale or buy it on the ship. I have never had a problem with that. They are very accommodating and I love cruises, especially while pregnant.
