Gestational Diabetes

Moms out there that was or is pregnant with gestational diabetes.. I have a question for you.

I got prescribed metformin 500mg

I’m in my third trimester..

Last night was the first time I took it and I woke up this morning throwing up. Now I have diarrhea and just feel like I can’t eat nothing..

I’m sorry for the tmi but what should I do? I definitely don’t want to keep taking something that makes me sick. Did any of you have any bad experiences with the medicine ?
