HSV 2 low positive no symptoms

I have read a lot of your posts talking about how the blood test isn't really reliable... but how reliable is it? I tested positive 2/5 at igg 1.7. I didn't believe it so I took it again 2/21 and got a positive igg 1.5. I've never had symptoms, though I've been freaking out and convinced something is going to happen any minute, and I'm not what one would normally consider high risk. Are any of you asymptomatic? Always? My two partners in the last 2 years - 1 has been tested, the other's dr told him not to worry about it unless there are symptoms. But I'm worried! What do you all think of this? I last tested for HSV in 8/2016 and was negative. I've read about the Wester Blot for people who are in the low range, and some say >3.0 is positive whereas the CDC says >1.1 is. But the blood test only reflects antibodies, and not the virus.... I want to know. But I don't want everything that comes with it. I feel disgusting. I've been seriously depressed.... I'm miserable. Every little feeling I have I'm checking for some sign of something, afraid I'm going to turn into some giant monster. What are your thought/experiences with igg as the only indicator?

I should note I've been HSV 1 positive since childhood. Those igg levels were 12.0 and 9.0 during those two tests. I've also never had a cold sore.
