home Doppler heart rate?

I just got a home Doppler, I’m 10 weeks, and I think I found the heartbeat. It was at first 140 but then at 130. after a minute or so, it moved to 95-100 so I’m guessing that was my heart beat? Does that sound right? my babies heart beat at my last ultrasound was 163 but I’m assuming a home Doppler wouldnt be as high. thanks to anyone who can help me to understand

You probably picked up on your HR. You’ll be able to hear arterial beats on both of your sides and you’ll also be able to hear the beats from your placenta. Baby will sound much different from these sounds. Also the beat counter is always off. I just make a video and count it that way.

The counter on the screen isn’t that accurate. If you want to count do it yourself and ignore the screen. I never counted just kind of learned a good pattern.

I was always able to pick up around the same rate as the doctor!!

My doctor told me not to pay attention to the numbers on mine. Just listen for the correct sound.
