I just got told that because I got vouchers to have my dog and cat spayed for free that I shouldn't be allowed to have pet's because I can't afford them. The vet I take them to wanted $500+ to spay them. They do blood work and stuff before hand and charge the cone, pain killers, and fluids separately. I got the vouchers so that the spay was free, but paid $248 for everything else to be added on, but I saved like $300. My husband and I don't make a lot, but every time my animals have needed to go to the vet, they have gone. They are up to date on shots and everything. They are healthy and happy and very spoiled, but I did qualify for lower income to get the vouchers. Should I not have my pet's??
