What is considered moderate exercise

I’m trying to get fit and loose weight before I graduate EMT school in 3 months. So far I’ve lost 15 pounds without working out since January but still have 15 more to loose. I started working out a few weeks ago on and off and at first I could barely use 2.5lb weights and now I’m using 8 pounds.

I hike on the weekends but during the week I workout at home. Right now I’m only doing 15 minutes of working out 4 times a week. That includes switching it up from legs, abs, back, and arms. I always use weights and always break a sweat. Aside from that I don’t work at a desk job, I work in a daycare and go on an hour walk every day.

Would this be considered moderate or light exercise?
