Pulmonary Sequestration
At my 18 week anatomy scan the Drs picked up a mass on my baby's lung. We didn't know what it was and we were referred to a specialist 4 hours away. I'm now 28 weeks and we now know it's a pulmonary sequestration which is not dangerous as it doesn't grow and can sometimes dissapear. We were told though that she would have to have an xray and scan at birth and surgery at 6-12 months. The thought of our baby girl having surgery is so scary but on the plus side we get to have two more ultrasounds before she is born and a scheduled induction at 39 weeks if all goes well (my son was early so they said more than likely she will be too) so almost 10 weeks until we meet you baby girl! ❤ Has anybody had any experience with lung masses or pulmonary sequestration?
