No transvaginal ultrasound

I had a miscarriage last year around this time. Doctors didn’t know why and said that sometimes it just happens. I decided to go to a fertility clinic and was scheduled to have surgery to check for endometriosis. I ended up getting pregnant naturally and didn’t need the surgery anymore.

I am now 7 weeks pregnant (yay!) and I went to my OB. I have had an appointment twice since I found out and both times, she has only done an abdominal ultrasound.

Any suggestions why she might not do the transvaginal ultrasound? Maybe because I had a miscarriage before? Any feedback would be super helpful. Thanks ladies!
