How often should I feel babe moving?

I don’t know if it’s still early but I’ve only felt baby move a couple times. I’m 17 weeks and 4 days. I’m not too concerned but I also don’t have a baby bump like, at all yet. I’m so small so it’s making nervous that maybe baby isn’t growing.

My belly isn’t hard at all and this is mostly what I normally look like with a little pouch

I feel mine move a couple times a day, my stomach is soft still. I heard constant movement shouldn’t happen to the 25,26 or 27 weeks. That’s when you should get a movement of 10 a hour. Unless the peanut is sleeping.

You won’t feel full movements until about 20 weeks, maybe more. I didn’t start to feel hard kicks and movements until about 25 weeks. Every woman/baby is different

Well.  You are way too early to be counting kicks anyway - I think week 28 is standard for counting.  Really it just matters that you are aware of your baby's pattern and note if it suddenly changes - and then only later, once your baby is big enough for you to feel him consistently.  I had friends whose babies almost never kicked, and my girl kicks like crazy.  My OB doesn't bother with kick counts, he is of the 'you'll notice if it changes' school, which I'm perfectly happy with.  One less thing to do.

It's still normal not to have a bump at this stage yet but I'm only 20+1 and I can feel her kicks and I feel slight pressure (doesn't hurt)  when she moves around in there but I'm not far enough along to feel constant moving/kicking. But once your farther along to start feeling them kick just make sure you feel them a couple times a day. Sometimes you don't feel them for a whole day and that's ok.

Dont worry 😊 I was almost flat at 17 weeks. But once I hit week 25, I just popped ☺️ And that's when I felt plenty of movement from bubba (I also have an anterior placenta so most likely why I felt things later)

18 -25 weeks are first time movements for moms first time moms especially . I started around 19 weeks and he moves all day except sleeping time and I am 25 weeks . Everywhere I read and my doctor told me do not start kick counting until 28 weeks , that’s when baby is big enough to feel all the time even tiny movements and  had a proper schedule ( not all babies have a schedular lol)

Honestly, the moving 10 times an hour that everybody says is absolutely necessary really isn’t gonna happen every hour every day! It’s more nerve racking if you feel that that is “normal” it just causes people to worry extra! I told my doctor that in no way is that normal for my baby! I told her some days I feel her move a couple times in the morning and a couple times in the evening but that 3-4 hours can go by that she doesn’t move! My doc said that’s pretty normal and I shouldn’t worry!
