My husband's family uses a K to spell things that are typically spelled with a C. 
Thoughts on Dominic vs Dominik?

My husband is Zak. He is forever correcting people. I do like Dominik, but I would be prepared for misspellings - and always having to spell the name out automatically.

I think it's more European to spell names with a k? I know a Dominika (of Polish background)

Dominik would make it more Greek- they use K as well. Thats fairly common lol go for it

My son’s name is Dominick :) I love the spelling of it and it goes with my husband’s name- Nickolas, so he is still a namesake for daddy without being a junior
