Is it 2 early?

Ok so I know people that had their child potty trained by 1 n a half is that too early? They started training in baby 1st birthday and baby finally grasped concept fully by 1n a half I really want to train early too. My daughter is 10 months verrry smart and advance (not just saying because she’s my child EVERYONE even DR say she’s at least 2 months advanced and been since the beginning) I know she’ll grasp it quick.....

I learned with my first that it is sooo much easier once they are fully ready. I tried to potty train her at 18 months and she would do okay for a while and then after a while would cry for her diaper back on so I stopped and decided to wait till she was read. I was cooking dinner one night the same month she turned 2 years old and she yelled “Momma I poop I poop!” And I ran thinking she made a mess with poop and she had pooped in the potty all by herself.. After that she wanted nothing todo with diapers and potty trained so fast and was fully potty trained right at 2. Which is still young but she pretty much did everything herself.

It’s the youngest I’ve heard for toilet training. Can always try and see if she understands and if not can reset later.

I’m going to start at 18mo (year and a half) - I work at a preschool and one of my students started at about 20 Months and was fully potty trained before she was 2 and neither is or parents was really forcing it. Just encouraging.

If you feel she is ready then do it. Don’t miss your window of opportunity. If she doesn’t take to it then try again later.
