Easter Gender Reveal!

Lindsay

For our first pregnancy, our gender reveal would have been during Christmas time. I had the idea to use ornaments as the reveal. Unfortunately, we lost the baby well before finding out the gender and weren't able to do it.

Now, I'm almost 20 weeks pregnant and it's a week before Easter! So I figured it would be perfect to do an Easter themed gender reveal!

It wasn't a huge party, just our immediate family. The most decorations we had were some pink and blue balloons and we ate pizza for dinner. My husband and I found out after our ultrasound, then went to the store

to grab supplies (and also some baby clothes!!)

It was super easy. I filled plastic Easter eggs with yellow or white tissue paper (otherwise you'd be able to see through it) and blue M&Ms;, with a piece of Dove chocolate that was wrapped in blue wrapping. Everyone opened their egg up on the count of three to see the blue candy for our baby boy! I had all of the eggs in an Easter basket beforehand too. It was pretty cute!

We also announced his name, Benjamin Walter. The middle name was a surprise for my dad (it's his first name) and I'm glad we were able to share that moment!!

We can't wait to meet Benjamin Walter in August. 💙💙
